DDA Maps out the Digital Infrastructure in newly published Ecosystem Guide 2023

This week, the DDA in collaboration with its 100+ partners published the Ecosystem Guide 2023, which provides a clear overview of suppliers within the data center ecosystem.

The growing number of data centers in the Netherlands over time has led to the emergence of a strong local ecosystem of suppliers. These are companies that focus on the planning, construction, or operation and support of data centers.

This can range from assistance in the initial phase such as securing finances, planning, and design, to suppliers who help manage a fully operational data center, from maintenance and cleaning services to legal advice and security services. In addition, a large part of the ecosystem is involved in building and renewing facilities, ranging from innovative power solutions and cooling services to connectivity services.

“The strength of the digital infrastructure is measured by the strength of the ecosystem of suppliers and consultants serving this sector.” says Stijn Grove, Managing Director of the DDA.

Grove: “With one of the strongest digital infrastructures in Europe, the Netherlands has one of the strongest ecosystems of suppliers serving this sector. This is why the Netherlands is considered as the Digital Gateway to Europe.”

The Ecosystem Guide 2023 highlights more than 100 companies that are part of this ecosystem and are affiliated with the DDA. The guide also provides an overview of the landscape, with companies classified as ‘plan’, ‘build’, or ‘run’.
