The young data center sector is ever changing. At the same time, it has been a stable growth factor in our economy for years, and a foundation for the wider digital economy that is built on it. The dynamics of the data center industry can certainly also be applied to the DDA, which sharpens its priorities each year to ensure that our participants all across the Netherlands can continue to grow in a sustainable manner.

We look back on a successful, eventful 2019 in which we have seen many collaborations arising within our close community. In addition, outside the community we see a growing awareness and attention for the important role of data centers, as well as the challenges that come along with it. As trade association for data centers, we are working hard with a growing, professional team to ensure that the interests of data centers are looked after and that the sector can continue to grow sustainably. With our three rock-solid positions “Education and Employment”, ” Energy and Sustainability ”and“ Digital Economy and Mainport ” we will continue to strengthen our activities to overcome the industry’s challenges.
