The Annual Report 2023 looks back at projects, events, publications and media moments of the DDA and the data center industry, over the past year.

The past year had many unexpected twists and turns, such as the fall of the current administration, the rapid rise of AI, and congested power grids. These changes also impacted the DDA’s year. For example, we had the opportunity to share our vision for the digital future during the elections, through a debate and election program input.

In 2023, the DDA published no less than eight reports and white papers, including the annual State of the Dutch Data Centers and the bi-annual Data Centers & Employment report. There was also a full event agenda this year, with more than 1,500 visitors coming to RAI Amsterdam in February for Kickstart Europe. In October the DDA together with the FCA organized the Green Data Center Conference & Fiber Trade Day, this attracted a whopping 600+ visitors.
