Sustainability Matters for Your Data Center
Reducing power consumption has become one of the biggest challenges facing modern data centers.
As organizations continue to store and process growing volumes of data, sustainability, energy efficiency, and operational costs are becoming just as important as performance and capacity.
In collaboration with Toshiba Electronics Europe, PROMISE Technology completed an independent lab evaluation of the VTrak J5960, a high-density 60-bay storage expansion platform designed with GreenBoost technology – energy efficiency in mind. The report demonstrates how organizations can achieve 1.5PB of storage capacity while significantly reducing power consumption and infrastructure requirements compared to traditional storage architectures.
The results highlight how sustainable storage design, efficient cooling, compact deployment, and high-capacity drives can help data centers lower operating costs while supporting long-term environmental goals.
