Oleon

Oleon is an oleochemical company that manufactures plant-based oils, including dielectric liquids (QLOE) for immersion cooling. Our products distinguish themselves from other dielectrics in terms of their eco friendliness, safety and performance. The mission of our mother company (The Avril Group) is to “Serve the Earth” and this is our pole star on all our developments.

• Sustainability: given that the raw materials for our dielectric oils are plant-based, our products are biodegradable, do not emit any green house gases or other fumes that are toxic to the environment and it is PFAS free.
• Safety: the product is the safest product on the market and contains no labelling in the Safety Data Sheet. This is advantageous during installation, maintenance, in case of leakages and during decommissioning. The product has high flash-points compared to its peers.
• Performance: the product has been tested extensively and is low viscous (thereby bringing excellent thermal performance), good material compatibilities and very strong dielectric characteristics.

The advantage of our molecules is that we can tailor our solutions in accordance with our partners’ needs. Should you require a higher flash point or lower viscosity for example, then there are ways we can accommodate.

Oleon has a fact based Corporate Social Responsibility model that enables us to measure the impact of our products on the environment, helping our partners to achieve their ESG targets and opting for products that have a minimal environmental impact.

Oleon’s HQ is based in Ghent, Belgium. We have global production facilities and have about 1300 employees.
