Dutch locations

Kolo operates four data centers in the Netherlands:

NL1 – Dronten
NL2 – Meppel
NL3 – Apeldoorn
NL4 – Amsterdam
These locations are interconnected and offer access to a broad network of carriers, exchanges, and hybrid cloud platforms.

European platform

In addition to the Netherlands, Kolo is active in Sweden and Denmark. In Denmark, the data centers are located in and around the urban regions of Aarhus and Copenhagen. In Sweden, data centers are located in Stockholm (set up as twin data centers) and in Piteå, a northern location with an arctic climate that contributes to energy-efficient cooling.

This regional distribution supports geographical diversity, data sovereignty, and operational continuity within Europe.

Independent growth

Kolo was created from the repositioning of an existing data center operation and has since been operating under a new name and strategy. The organization focuses on transparency, technical depth, and European autonomy in digital infrastructure.
