Willemstad (Curaçao), 24 September 2024 – The Dutch Datacenter Association (DDA) has joined the Caribbean Datacenter Association (CDA), the association representing data centers in the Caribbean. With this partnership, both organizations express their commitment to assisting data centers in the Caribbean to position themselves so they can support governments and commercial organizations in the areas of digital transformation and an expanding regional digital economy. In addition, the exchange of knowledge and expertise is an important objective.

Launched in March 2024 by Blue NAP Americas (Curaçao) and Datasur (Suriname), the Caribbean Datacenter Association now has members from 34 different Caribbean islands. Through the collaboration with the Dutch Datacenter Association, the organization strives to meet important international laws and regulations faster and better.
