Successful online release ‘State of the Dutch Data Centers 2020’ market report

Yesterday, the DDA held an online knowledge and network event as part of the annual market report ‘State of the Dutch Data Centers 2020’.

Stijn Grove (director of DDA) shared the most important insights from the report, ranging from sustainability to the growth expectations and challenges of the DDA participants. The developments in the Amsterdam region and around Covid-19 were also discussed.

Mitul Patel, (CBRE), spoke about the recent developments in existing and emerging European data center markets and paid attention to the effects of Covid-19 on the construction and supply chain.

During the Q&A session Peter Vermeulen (Pb7 Research) joined in. For ‘State of the Dutch Data Centers 2020’ he compared the Netherlands as an attractive location for data centers with the other European hubs (FLAP+D).

After the panel session, the 450 participants had the opportunity to network with each other. With 135+ planned meetings, this was certainly a success.

The slides of yesterday’s session can be downloaded here. See the full recording of the event below.
