Schleifenbauer Products BV, a respected Dutch manufacturer of data centre server rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) based in ’s-Hertogenbosch, has announced a significant change in its leadership. Following a period of close collaboration and modernisation under the leadership of CEO Jan de Haan, the company is now taking the next step.
In a statement, Schleifenbauer emphasised: “The dedication of Jan and Alain has been invaluable to the growth and professionalisation of the company. With the foundation they have built and the new leadership team at the helm, we look to the future with confidence, focusing on innovation and customer commitment.”
Jan de Haan, who has led the company through a period of transformation in recent years, is stepping down from his position but will remain involved in the background. “It has been an honour to guide Schleifenbauer through this phase of change. I am confident that the new leadership team will continue on the path we have set,” said De Haan.
Alain Schuermans, co-founder and the technical driving force behind Schleifenbauer’s products, will also remain engaged behind the scenes. “Schleifenbauer has grown into a recognised player in the world of intelligent power distribution. While I am stepping back from an executive role, I will continue to be closely involved in the innovations we are developing as a company,” said Schuermans.
As of 1 February 2025, a new leadership team will take over. Jos Janssen, previously Head of Sales & Marketing, has been appointed as Sales Director. With extensive experience in sales and business development, he looks forward to his new role. “I am excited to work with the team to further enhance our customer service and explore new growth opportunities,” said Janssen.
Edward Goudsmits, currently Head of Operations and Supply Chain, will take on the role of Operations Director. Having played a key role in optimising the company’s production processes, Goudsmits is eager for the challenges ahead: “We will continue to innovate and refine our processes to maintain the high quality and reliability our customers expect from us.”
Schleifenbauer remains a well-established name in the world of intelligent power distribution for data centre server racks and IT infrastructure. With the rise of AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC), the demand for flexible and efficient power solutions is increasing. Through innovations such as the PDU 5.0 and the EnerTree software, Schleifenbauer is addressing these developments.
