Turner & Townsend, an international consultancy business, has appointed Remco Kroeze as Managing Director for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg (Benelux) to drive growth in the region. Remco brings more than 25 years of experience in the real estate sector, including 18 years at the world’s largest commercial real estate advisory and investment firm, CBRE.
Remco’s appointment comes at a crucial time for Turner & Townsend in the Benelux, as the company seeks to further strengthen its position as a leading player in the technical consultancy market. Turner & Townsend’s strategic priorities in the region include the growth of its real estate investor and occupier activities, as well as the expansion of large project and program activities for clients in real estate—including data centers—energy, and infrastructure.
The Turner & Townsend team in the Benelux also includes colleagues from CBRE’s project management division following the integration of the two companies in 2025. The total Benelux Turner & Townsend team now consists of approximately 280 project management, cost management, and building consultancy specialists. The expanded team, operating under the Turner & Townsend brand, offers clients unparalleled, integrated programme, project, construction cost, and commercial management capabilities in response to the growing market demand for end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects and programmes.
Remco succeeds Luke Bartolo, who has led Turner & Townsend in the Netherlands since 2016. Luke remains active on Turner & Townsend’s Europe Board and takes on a new leadership role focused on the Occupier & Retail sector in Europe.
“I am honoured to lead our team in the Benelux during this period of growth and transformation for our business.”
“Supported by our extensive range of capabilities and broad talent pool, we remain committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.”
