Contained aisles: checkmate for competitors

Contained aisles are the background for modern data centers. Big data centers require many contained aisles, often fully customized, for thousands of cabinets. Many customers operate smaller facilities and for them, a more subtle arrangement of a comprehensive data centre solution is appropriate. CONTEG’s concepts, which are suitable for all spaces, are the optimal starting point. The CONTEG Contained aisle offering comes in three variants.
We can deliver data center solutions for a variety of clients from the smallest to the largest. For the smaller ones, we offer our Flexible Containments, which offer a flexible choice of the number and size of racks used. Their satisfied reactions are proof that they have their rightful place in the market, CONTEG Benelux Director Kris Gilissen

Self-Supporting Containment

CONTEG´s solution allows a flexible choice of the number and size of racks used. Data center operators can easily move racks according to their current needs.
CONTEG thinks first and foremost about the needs of its customers. Therefore, it has developed a universal stand-alone aisle solution for them.
“Our solution allows a flexible choice of the number and size of racks used. Data center operators can easily move racks according to their current needs. In addition, the universal aisle can be customized according to the customer’s wishes for the required aisle widths and lengths”, emphasizes Sales Director CONTEG Vojtěch Voláček
The universal aisle has a standard width of 1200 millimetres, but can be adapted to 1800 millimetres. The length of the standard roof module is 2400 millimetres, it can be extended. The length without any support is a maximum of 4800 millimeters.

Contained Aisle for CONTEG cabinets
Contained Aisle is the basic solution concept for the mechanical separation of hot and cold air in data centers, leading to higher performance and energy efficiency. It is designed for CONTEG cabinets and cooling units. The proper separation of these two zones helps achieve lower temperatures for computers and higher temperatures for cooling systems. For proper function, it is possible to combine sliding doors or blank panels with different types of roof panels and use them to build a contained cold or hot aisle.
