National Data Center Day 2026
Take a look behind the scenes of the Internet on Tuesday, June 9!
Do you ever wonder what a data center actually does? Or have you always wanted to know what they look like inside? Then come on Tuesday, June 9 to the National Datacenter Day! During this annual initiative of the Dutch Data Center Association (DDA), data centers throughout the Netherlands open their doors to curious visitors, local residents and IT enthusiasts.
What can you expect?
During your visit, step into a world that normally remains behind closed doors. Take a tour of the high-tech environment of a data center and discover how data is stored securely day and night. You’ll learn how these digital hubs are essential to everything we do online – from sending an app to streaming your favorite series.
In addition, you will see for yourself why Dutch data centers are among the most sustainable in the world. Think about the use of green energy, innovative cooling systems and the smart reuse of residual heat to heat surrounding buildings.
A unique mix of technology, sustainability, and innovation, accessible to everyone curious about the digital engine of our society.
